INCA Final Conference and results in the spotlight on Basque public radio
On 27 January, Euskadi Irratia, the public radio broadcaster of the Basque Country, aired an interview with Manex Urruzola, a member of INCA from Elhuyar. The interview was recorded in Brussels, attracted by the Final Conference held on 21–22 January, and it conveyed the main results obtained by the project.
The interview was broadcast on a programme called Faktoria, which daily addresses current affairs from different perspectives and provides key elements to analyse them. In this case, the programme devoted 12 minutes to discussing the influence of large technology companies and chose to explain what is happening through the findings of INCA.
They broke down the different types of power exercised by GAFAM, introducing statements from Manex Urruzola, after having previously presented all the details and the trajectory of the INCA project.
The programme host and the panellists underlined the importance of the INCA research, as it gives substance to society’s feelings and suspicions. For INCA, this interview was a good opportunity to disseminate the final results and to give visibility to the Final Conference. Once again, the strong topical relevance of the project was clearly demonstrated.
