10 December 2025 By

On 4 December, INCA member Inge Graef from Tilburg University took part in the DIGITAL SME Summit, held at the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels.

It is a key annual event for European SMEs, focusing on digital transformation and technology, with the overarching goal of shaping the future of Europe’s digital economy. It brings together industry leaders, policymakers, and academics to contribute to a sovereign, competitive, and resilient digital future for Europe.

The event provides participants with the opportunity to engage in high-level discussions, networking, and receive practical guidance on digital innovation. This year, among the expert speakers was our colleague Inge Graef, who joined the panel “The Data Act and the Aftermarket: Ensuring Competition and Access for SMEs”, alongside:

  • Björn Juretzki, Head of Unit, Data Policy (DG CNECT, European Commission)
  • Damian Boeselager, Member of the European Parliament
  • Sylvia Gotzen, Secretary General, FIGIEFA
  • Veronique Willems, Secretary General, SMEUnited
  • Andrei Kelemen, CEO, Cluj IT, and Vice-President, European DIGITAL SME Alliance

A significant participation, that of Inge Graef, for the INCA team, highlighting our commitment to addressing digital challenges.
