The struggle of workers and the consent of the state? Strategies towards platformisation in the case of Amazon in Poland

On April 4, 2024, Dr. Szymon Pilch, from the University of Wrocław team, presented a paper titled “The struggle of workers and the consent of the state? Strategies towards platformisation in the case of Amazon in Poland” during the session titled “Platform II: How Platforms Shape the Market”.

This presentation was part of the 42nd International Labour Process Conference 2024 (Coercion, Consent and Conflict in the Labour Process and Beyond) at Göttingen University in Germany. The preliminary results were focused on the analyses of social partners’ (trade unions, employers’ organisations) strategies and state responses towards the platformisation of Polish economy carried out within the WP5 of the INCA project.
