Edoardo Mollona keynote speaker at the Final Conference of the Rebalance project

On 17 September, INCA coordinator Edoardo Mollona attended the Final Conference of our sister project Rebalance, held at the Le Benedettine Conference Center in Pisa.

Invited as a keynote speaker, Professor Mollona presented INCA’s findings on what the European media say when they talk about GAFAM and how this is politically relevant.

The conference was a valuable opportunity to share insights with Rebalance colleagues and participate in their three-day program of inspiring discussions on business, human rights, and the development of a responsible business vision that reinforces democracy.

The Rebalance team emphasized that “we live in a time of profound imbalances between business and state powers. This is not just a technical challenge — it is political, social, and moral,” underlining that change is possible and calling for action to make it happen.

We congratulate the Rebalance project for the journey they have taken to imagine and design alternatives to help foster a rebalancing between capitalism and democracy.
