Insights from the “Rethinking Social Platforms” survey in Bucharest

The Urbasofia team has created an infographic (attached below) in which they have gathered the conclusions they have drawn from the survey entitled “Rethinking Social Platforms”.

The questionnaire was launched as part of INCA’s Bucharest OIL activities, with the objective of exploring how to co-design an ethical and sustainable alternative platform to Facebook that reflects the needs and values of the community.

The survey invited participants to reflect on issues such as decision-making processes, data privacy, inclusion, long-term sustainability, content governance, and the ethical foundations that should guide platform development. A total of 59 anonymous responses were collected, offering a rich and diverse picture of what people expect from a fair and community-centered online space.
