Innovative Learning and Digital Capitalism Highlight Final Days of INCA Exhibition in Lugano
The INCA Exhibition Virtualità Materiali in Lugano concluded on 22 November after being open to the public for three weeks. The final days were marked by several engaging events that highlighted the exhibition’s themes.
On 19 November, a workshop on social networks in the classroom was held. In light of the ways technological advancements are transforming how knowledge is learned, produced, and shared, the session encouraged participants to reflect on designing and experimenting with innovative educational scenarios. The workshop featured Paola Solcà (Head of the SUPSI Bachelor in Social Work), Angelica Lepori (Senior Lecturer-Researcher, SUPSI), and Fabio Lenzo (Senior Lecturer) as the main speakers, beginning with a presentation of an experiment conducted during the SUPSI course I mondi del lavoro, in which students created social media content as a form of assessment. The content was showcased, followed by an engaging discussion among attendees.
For the exhibition’s final event, which took place on 22 November, visitors had the opportunity to explore research on Digital Capitalism presented by Spartaco Greppi and Christian Marazzi, two prominent Ticino-based scholars who anticipated the transformations in the ways we produce, distribute, and consume that have emerged as a consequence of digitalization.
The exhibition’s stay in Lugano has been very successful and could not have ended on a better note. We are deeply grateful to everyone who visited Limonaia di Villa Saroli and participated in the activities.
