INCA RESEARCH SEMINAR: Big Tech politics and infrastructures. Current developments and potential alternatives
On 22 October, a research seminar was held in Bologna, organized by INCA partners UNIBO, SUPSI, and Fondazione IU Rusconi Ghigi.
Under the title ‘Big Tech Politics and Infrastructures: Current Developments and Potential Alternatives’, the event had as main guests Ana Valdivia and Vili Lehdonvirta. The INCA researchers discussed with them the latest scientific developments on the project’s themes, with a particular focus on the topic of infrastructures and Big Tech politics, starting from the important works on the subject produced by the two scholars.
Edoardo Mollona, the INCA coordinator, led the main introduction, while other team members acted as moderators and discussants for the various thematic blocks. The team included Mattia Frapporti, Maurilio Pirone, and Sandro Mezzadra from UNIBO, as well as Niccolò Cuppini from SUPSI.
