SUMMARY:Joint International Workshop in Lisbon: "Global Infrastructures:  Aesthetic Power and Affective Networks in the (Post-)colonial Present"
DESCRIPTION:On 28 November\, Joint International Workshop will take place in Lisbon\, organized by the Institute of Contemporary History of Lisbon and the University of Bologna\, in collaboration with COLABOR\, INCA\, IN2PAST\, and the University of Évora. \nSeveral partners from INCA are participating in the event titled “Global Infrastructures: Aesthetic Power and Affective Networks in the (Post)Colonial Present.” Members from CoLABOR\, Unibo\, and SUPSI will serve as moderators and speakers during various activities throughout the event’s program. \nThe workshop aims to focus on infrastructures as semiotic and aesthetic vehicles. It promotes a collective investigation of the aesthetic and affective dimension of global infrastructures\, with an emphasis on how it interacts with colonial projects\, capitalist enterprises and cultural superstructures. \nClick on the attached images to view the day’s program and learn more about the main guests and specific topics.
